Privacy Policy
Effective Date: 07/05/2026 · Last Updated: 07/11/2026
Thank you for choosing Happy Robot Shop. This Privacy Policy explains how Happy Robot Shop (“Happy Robot Shop,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information through our studio websites and services, including happyrobotshop.com, the Happy Robot Shop portal, HRS TV at tv.happyrobotshop.com, partnership inquiry forms, transactional emails, Check This Out, investor information pages, and related studio pages.
Happy Robot Shop also publishes product-specific experiences that may collect additional information under their own privacy policies. Those product policies apply in addition to this Policy for the corresponding product:
- Blockvase — blockvase.com/privacy.html
- Starshot Genesis — starshotgenesis.com/privacy.html
- Splatrbox — splatrbox.com/privacy.html
If a product-specific policy conflicts with this Policy for that product, the product-specific policy controls for the conflicting point.
1. Information We Collect
a. Partnership Inquiry Information
When you submit our partnership inquiry form, we collect the information you provide, including name, email address, phone number, company name, industry, target timing, and partnership details. We also collect the submission timestamp, IP address, and browser user agent for security, abuse prevention, support, and recordkeeping.
b. Portal Account Information
When you create or use a Happy Robot Shop portal account, we collect username, email address, password hash, activation or verification status, legal-consent timestamps and policy version identifiers, account role, account creation time, last login, session activity, and related authentication records. We do not store your plain-text password.
c. HRS TV Subscription and Billing Information
If you subscribe to HRS TV, we collect and store subscription status, current billing period, renewal timing, cancellation status, payment history, payment errors, gateway customer identifiers, card token references, card brand, and last four digits. Card details are tokenized by iPOSpays (or a related payment processor); Happy Robot Shop is not intended to store full raw card numbers or CVV values on its servers.
d. Check This Out and Viewing State
The portal and HRS TV display Check This Out items curated by Happy Robot Shop, including titles, source URLs, curator notes, thumbnails, channels, YouTube video IDs, save dates, and published dates. To show unread/opened status across the portal and HRS TV, we store opened-content identifiers in first-party browser storage and a first-party cookie scoped to happyrobotshop.com. These identifiers may reference content IDs or source URLs.
e. Investor and Crowdfunding Pages
Our investors page may link to third-party Regulation Crowdfunding platforms such as Wefunder. If you continue to those platforms, the information you provide there is collected and processed by that platform under its own privacy policy. Happy Robot Shop may receive limited campaign-related information from those platforms as an issuer or campaign operator where permitted by law and platform terms.
f. Automatically Collected and Technical Information
We may collect server logs, request metadata, IP address, user agent, timestamps, diagnostic data, security events, payment processor responses, CSRF and session metadata, and service health information needed to operate, debug, secure, and improve the site. We may also review first-party operational metrics (for example server resource and availability monitoring) used by Happy Robot Shop staff. We do not currently use third-party advertising analytics SDKs (such as Google Analytics) on happyrobotshop.com.
2. How We Use Information
Inquiry Response: To respond to partnership inquiries, understand potential fit, and communicate with you about relevant opportunities.
Account and Portal Operation: To create accounts, authenticate users, protect sessions, send activation or transactional emails, provide Check This Out, and maintain portal access.
HRS TV and Subscriptions: To manage HRS TV access, process subscriptions and renewals, update payment methods, handle cancellations, send subscription lifecycle notices, and provide the fullscreen content player.
Security and Abuse Prevention: To enforce rate limits, verify requests, prevent unauthorized access, investigate errors, detect suspicious behavior, and protect Happy Robot Shop systems.
Operations and Improvement: To maintain services, fix bugs, monitor server health, improve product quality, and preserve business records.
Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable laws, enforce our Terms, and respond to lawful requests.
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
Service Providers: We use service providers as needed to operate the site and related services, including hosting and infrastructure providers, Amazon Web Services (AWS SES) for transactional email delivery, iPOSpays or related payment processors for card tokenization and payment processing, Telegram for internal notifications and community links, YouTube for embedded video playback, Google Fonts for web typography (which may receive your IP address when fonts are loaded from Google’s servers), Let’s Encrypt or similar certificate authorities for TLS, and other infrastructure or support providers.
Telegram Notifications: Partnership inquiry details may be sent to an internal Happy Robot Shop Front Desk Telegram channel so we can respond. Check This Out published to the portal may be posted to The Lobby Telegram channel. If you join or interact with Telegram, Telegram’s own terms and privacy practices apply.
Third-Party Content and Platforms: Check This Out may link to third-party websites or embed third-party players such as YouTube. Investor pages may link to Wefunder or similar platforms. Social links may direct you to X (Twitter), LinkedIn, or Facebook. Your interaction with those third-party websites or players is governed by their own policies.
Legal, Safety, and Business Transfers: We may disclose information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, to enforce our terms, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, financing, or sale of assets.
We do not sell personal information as defined by the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). We also do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
4. Cookies & Similar Technologies
We use first-party cookies and browser storage to operate the website, secure requests, remember preferences, and maintain account sessions.
- CSRF token: Helps protect state-changing form submissions and API requests.
- Session cookies: Keep portal, HRS TV, and related authenticated areas signed in (for example an HttpOnly portal session cookie).
- Cookie preference: Remembers that you dismissed the cookie notice.
- Opened-content storage: Uses localStorage and a first-party cookie to sync opened/unread status between the portal and HRS TV.
Third-party embeds (such as YouTube) and third-party font providers (such as Google Fonts) may set their own cookies or receive technical data when those resources load. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers on our studio site. You can control cookies in your browser settings, but disabling necessary cookies may prevent forms, account access, subscriptions, or HRS TV from working properly.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to operate the site and services, respond to inquiries, maintain account and subscription records, process payments, provide support, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, preserve security records, and improve reliability.
- Partnership inquiries: Retained for business records unless deletion is requested and no exception applies.
- Portal accounts: Retained while the account is active and for a reasonable period afterward for security, support, and recordkeeping.
- Subscription and payment records: Retained as needed for billing, accounting, support, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
- Opened-content state: Stored locally in your browser and first-party cookie for up to approximately one year unless you clear browser storage.
- Operational logs: Retained as needed for diagnostics, security, and service reliability.
6. Security
We use reasonable administrative, physical, and technical safeguards to protect information, including hashed passwords, HTTPS, CSRF protections, secure session handling, limited internal access, and service monitoring. No method of electronic storage or transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information, and to appeal certain decisions. You may also have the right to complain to a supervisory authority. Some records may need to be retained for legal, accounting, security, payment, dispute, or business reasons.
You can choose not to submit a partnership inquiry, not to create a portal account, not to subscribe to HRS TV, or to cancel HRS TV renewal through the portal where available. You can clear browser cookies and storage to remove local opened-content state. To exercise privacy rights, contact us at the address below.
8. Children's Privacy
Our website, portal, HRS TV, partnership inquiry forms, and studio services are not directed to children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 18. If you believe a child has provided personal information to Happy Robot Shop, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored in the United States and in other countries where we or our service providers operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for international transfers.
10. Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” signals. Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to those signals, our studio site does not currently alter behavior solely based on Do Not Track.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our services, technologies, legal requirements, or business practices. Updates will be posted on this page, and the Last Updated date will reflect the most recent version. Material changes that require renewed consent for account holders will be reflected in updated legal-version identifiers at signup or account settings where applicable.
